(This quite remarkable event took place during
a Spiritual Healing workshop held in Kog's shed, Kyogle, on the 11th
and 12th of January 2001. Annette was the facilitator and Suzannah did
the channelling (first ever attempt). At first Annette asked the entity
'Where are you from" to which it replied "Tibet". We then all asked
a short question in turn and giving our name before the question. When
my turn came around I said "My name is Kog. I would like to know how
far my book will go". To which she replied "My dear Kog. It is a book
of the heart. It will touch those hearts that need to be touched. Do
not worry too much about the money side of things. Keep in touch with
the land. Find the time to meditate daily. Learn to love your family".
I then thanked her. After everyone had finished Annette asked the entity
what was it's name, and the reply was "Kuan Yin"!)

Mr Kog, It
finally entered my thick skull you - KOG - are the writer of this book,
so I'd like to compliment you with your work. I've read it in one go
and was very impressed. What I liked was that Growers Lot is not just
a how-to manual but much, much more. The book puts you on the wrong
leg all the time. I like the straightforwardness and streetwise crudeness
of the book, but maybe even more the honest, unsentimental and not in
the least pretentious account of your personal development. I like the
good honest greed and the obnoxiousness which appear in a completely
different light after the last chapters. I admire you for putting your
balls on the block in such a provoking manner. Gee man, I sincerely
hope you won't get into more trouble for publishing this spitting in
the mouth of the system. Even though it may not be of much use for the
average pampered and complacent Dutch grower (indoor) it's very refreshing
to find the true rebel spirit still alive, a rare voice these days especially
in these parts. But even for those spoiled Dutch bastards who 'know
it all' Growers Lot can be enjoyed as an adventurous account of one
man's crusade against a medievil and very sick system. It made me very
angry once again at our powerlessness in the face of this big lying
monster - a powerlessness that's relative to a certain extent as you

4pm Monday and did not put it down untill read approx 1am today.
NOW I really wish I spent more time with

But with dead straight parents it was
a little hard, my old man is a copper! (NZ). Was kicked out of home for
smoking Ganja 6 months before I started. Came home one night with red eyes.

It appears that your outdoor growing and
outdoor plants appear to be very similar to growing plants outside in
Hawaii. The Hawaiin strain seems to have originated from S.E. Asia (Thai,
Vietnam, Cambodia) - which look a lot like your Aussie Bush weed.

are ya mate!!! Well I was
reading your advertisement in Live to Ride magazine about your marrajowarna's
growing guide and it also mentioned about you doing some time in gaol.
Well you're not the only one. I done an Armed Robbery and I ended up
getting 2 years and 3 months. Lucky for me I robbed this certain shop
when I was only sixteen. I am now eighteen years old. I'm in a juvenile
detention centre and I was wondering if I could either get a copy of
your book for free because criminals like me that are locked up can't
pay for it. Because I was thinking of writing a book on marrawarna me
self and I thought that your book would have some great knowledge to
help me get on my way. And I also think that it would help pass a little
of my time whilst I'm in here. Well if no, please just give a reply

your inspirational book, "Marijuana A Grower's Lot" and I'm
writing to thank you (and congratulate you) for putting it together.
It needed to be done! Since the '70's (I'm an old cunt) I have read
a myriad of literature on the subject; hippy bullshit, scientific crap
and airy-fairy nonsense. Where your treatise shines is that it cuts
to the chase (doesn't beat around the bush so to speak). Until I read
your book I was suffering paralysis by analysis. I knew what needed
to be done, I knew how to do it. I just needed someone to tell me to
"just fucking do it". On ya Kog. We have much in common as
we have both been "fucked by the system" in much the same
way. In my case 18 months at the MRC (no bail, gate up boss) '83-'84,
a couple of years in Grafton (boring) '85-'86, and 9 or so months at
the Glen Innes holiday farm (fucking cold cunt of a place) '87. Love
that day leave, a beer, coupla joints and a root, you fucken beauty!
Moreover, I share much of what you say about positive thinking and the
meaning of life. Spirituality perhaps? The missus and I have been
doing it hard lately and it is your book that has got me off my arse
and to get out there and make a difference. Not just growing hooter
but changing the way I see a whole lot of shit. With regard to the dope,
the biggest problem I have encountered is finding staunch blokes who
don't want to rip you off, or drop you in it as soon as the heat is
on. Lots of cunts out there, but that's the game, hey Kog? Anyway, thanks
